Route schematic — planning order only, not a copied or exact in-game minimap.
  1. 1

    Set the arena

Choose the group anchor, add-kill zone, and safe movement direction before the pull.

  2. 2

    Stage 1 — boss pressure

Stay spread enough to read targeted effects while cleaving the boss and priority manifestations.

  3. 3

    Transition — collapse adds

Group adds into the marked kill zone, assign stops, and avoid chasing low-priority targets out of healer range.

  4. 4

    Stage 2 — survival

Rotate defensives and healing cooldowns through the heavier damage pattern, then reset positions for the repeat.

Boss mechanics

Assignments that prevent repeat wipes.

Start with the primary call, then assign tank, healer, and DPS responsibilities before the pull.

Boss encounter

Chimaerus, the Undreamt God

Primary call: Cleave efficiently without losing boss uptime or spreading adds.

Key mechanics

  • The encounter repeats two stages until the boss is defeated or enrages.
  • Large numbers of manifestations make controlled cleave and add priority central to the fight.
  • The raid must reset spacing and cooldown assignments each time the stages repeat.
Tank

Anchor the boss where adds can be gathered; plan pickups before each transition.

Healer

Assign healing cooldowns by stage number so the same overlap is not double-covered.

DPS

Use cleave talents, but hard-target dangerous manifestations and assigned interrupt casts.

Trash and route risks

What to stop between bosses.

  • Use the raid note for every interrupt, soak, dispel, and cooldown assignment.
  • Reclear trash only after checking whether a wipe reset patrols or hazards.
  • Do not extend pulls beyond healer and battle-resurrection coverage.

Quests and unlocks

Do not leave rewards behind.

  • The Dreamrift is tied to the Harandar campaign. Complete the zone story required to reach the Rift of Aln and its entrance.
