Boss mechanics

Assignments that prevent repeat wipes.

Start with the primary call, then assign tank, healer, and DPS responsibilities before the pull.

Boss encounter

Chief Corewright Kasreth

Primary call: Plan movement around the arrays and clear the detonation point.

Key mechanics

  • Leyline Arrays connect conduits around the room.
  • Reflux Charge overwhelms a player and requires movement.
  • At full energy, Corespark Detonation creates a large impact zone.
Tank

Face frontals away, stabilize boss position, and use a defensive for the listed tank-buster window.

Healer

Pre-position for unavoidable group damage, dispel listed effects, and call external defensives before overlaps.

DPS

Interrupt priority casts, swap to required adds or objects, and save burst for exposed or intermission windows.

Boss encounter

Corewarden Nysarra

Primary call: Use Lightscar wounds for damage while keeping cleaves away.

Key mechanics

  • Lightscar Flare stuns its target and leaves a wound that empowers players standing within.
  • Eclipsing Step and Umbral Lash cleave around the target.
  • Subordinates enter the fight and require priority control.

Lothraxion

Primary call: Find the real Lothraxion and stop Divine Guile immediately.

Key mechanics

  • Brilliant Dispersion leaves Fractured Images.
  • Images Flicker and use Mirrored Rend on nearby players.
  • At full power, Divine Guile hides the boss among images and deals party damage until interrupted.

Trash and route risks

What to stop between bosses.

  • Interrupt suppression and arcing-mana casts.
  • Use purge/soothe tools on defensive buffs.
  • Keep final-platform packs separate unless your group has a full stop rotation.
  • Enemy-forces values can change with hotfixes; import a current MDT route before starting the key.
  • Call every major stop and defensive in voice rather than assuming it is available.

Quests and unlocks

Do not leave rewards behind.

  • Complete the dungeon on Mythic 0 or obtain the matching keystone through the current Season 1 system.
  • Seasonal portals are earned by timing the dungeon at the required keystone level.
